Disposable Blog Post Entry About Vektroid From 2015
“Babylon Has Fallen” is the message on the cover picture on her Twitter. Whether Vektroid aka the mastermind behind blending the ’80s Japanese commercials with our skewed VHS nostalgia will return under a new secret moniker (other than Macintosh Plus, New Dreams Ltd, PrismCorp, Laserdisc Visions, 情報デスクVIRTUAL, etc) or not is still in the mystery cloud. But she has penned a tweet that leads to a T-Shirt. Somehow the legacy’s torch needs to remain ablaze. It has been a while since we last heard from her and her last post back in September 2014 heralded a return. But all we have had so far is a remix of Magic Fades “Ecco”. So we flashback to one of her own favorite works as Fuji Grid TV and our favorite pick from Prism Genesis.
This is about 90 seconds of a piece taken from what sounds like a Japanese morning television drama (a wild guess is the ones from NHK). But the melody stretches on to encompass a lifetime of hardships and war during the Meiji period.
