One of my early gateways to anything post-internet was an article about Chaz Allen aka Metallic Ghosts aka Magicalchazwick called “Vaporwave and the observer effect”. Then I realized Tiny Mix Tapes has been passionately supporting this mini-cyber-trend for months and introduced a handful of genre’s essential works into their 2013 favorites list.

I appreciate all the incoming suggestions here. I’m not trying to play the guru Mr. Know-it-all for anyone who claims that title about seapunk, post-internet, and vaporwave is doomed to be humiliated.
