Apart from the post-internet techno-consumerism, this blog has recently been diagnosed with, we also find a plethora of pleasure datatypes in remote wind chimes, leaves dancing in the presence of a muted vacuum cleaner, and brainstorming frogs by the banks of Danube. And isn’t the summary of all these post-internet again?

This time, rather than writing about a movie soundtrack or a video game, this is the music for a distraction-free writing app called OmmWriter. The creative group behind this project from Barcelona has provided a medium to “transport us away from the humdrum noise” caused by multi-tabs, pop-up messages, emails, calls, meeting reminders, etc. If you happen to be an author, a blogger, or if you’re simply sickened by the 5 overlapping panels of editing options in your word processor, OmmWriter will shelter you from all that unnecessary visual pandemonium.

And if that helped your next best-seller outdo the previous, it is partly thanks to the ambient sound designer behind the project Aimar Molero. He’s technically the guy who has made this open-ended window comfortable enough to let the music work as complementary as possible. And that does not come very easy when making ambient music.
